The Slideshow widget lets you add photos and videos to your site or start page. After selecting the Slideshow widget you can add multiple URLs to public photos, or videos. Arrange their order and then click close. This will then start to play your customized slideshow. You can also move and resize the Slideshow widget and even rotate it by clicking and dragging the lower left corner. You can also customize the appearance of the widget by clicking on the color picker icon to change the background color and add a transparency level.

I love the idea of the widget, but am i the only one having trouble to make it work with rss feeds?

It goes through the pictures from the feed and then seems to stall instead of looping when it reaches the end. The spinning animation just doesn't stop and i can't do much with it at that point. I tried on my startpage, on the web and on my desktop. No dice. Any clues? Tried with Flickr feeds and other feeds as well.

I think the problem may have been that it treated the RSS feed as an item in the playlist, whereas it should only load the actual contents of the RSS feed into the playlist (and not the link to the RSS feed itself). It should be fixed in the next update.
