The Webcam widget allows you to actively monitor any publicly available webcams. If you know of a webcam, punch in the URL and see what's going on, live! After selecting the widget, click on the edit drop down to select one of the predefined webcams including the Shamu at SeaWorld, and Apes as the San Diego Zoo, or enter in the URL to your own webcam. You can also completely customize the appearance of the widget by clicking on the color picker icon to change the background color, the background border to be square or rounded, add a transparency level and even add a custom background image.
