The yourminis widget platform allows content owners to easily create, deploy and measure their widgets. In addition to providing a terrific development environment, syndication to a number of different networks and enterprise scale analytics, we provide our solution as a service. As we roll out new features and functionality, our clients get the immediate benefit, often without any modifications to their exising widgets. We've created an extension to the Flash IDE for yourminis widget development. This extension makes widget development a breeze by plugging in intellisense to help with syntax, a panel which allows for one-click local testing and debugging and integrated help documentation for all methods, events, and properties.

The platform simplifies widget creation by providing support for database access (both writing and reading data elements), proxy support (bypassing security restrictions that normally require a crossdomain.xml file to exist on the target webserver), caching of RSS content (for improved performance) and internationalization. By abstracting these complex development tasks, and providing them as simple functional aspects, widget creation is significantly enhanced by the yourminis platform.

The yourminis platform provides a number of visual enhancements for any widget. Our container allows you to specify the types of borders (rounded or straight), border colors, text color, default widget size / resizing attributes and menuing syntax. Any of these properties can be controlled by the developer and they can also be exposed to your users, allowing them the freedom to customize the widget to their liking. In addition, all of our widgets have a "copy me" button which allows the widget to spread virally through social networks, start pages, blogging platforms and email.
